Murray is a highly experienced psychotherapist with a wide range of clinical experience including the NHS, charity run services, hospices, leading London therapy practices and his private practice. He works with individuals and couples with relationship and psychosexual issues as well as other life challenges. In 2020, Murray was listed as one of London’s top sexual therapists by the Evening Standard.

His clinical experience draws from work with a wide range of issues, including: sexual relations, bereavement, trauma, rape, life-threatening illness, violence (both domestic and social), addiction, parental issues, couple and family concerns, personal and life challenges, as well as a diverse mix of mental health challenges such as depression, bi-polar, suicide and chronic fatigue and pain.

Murray is also the UK spokesperson on Men’s Issues for COSRT and provides regular psychotherapeutic insights to a number of relationship advisors and writers at the Observer, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan and more. In his wider working life, Murray has worked as a schoolteacher, school counsellor, aerobics instructor/personal trainer and advertising Creative Director in some of London’s leading ad agencies.
